Getting Started
Most clients start with a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can get a feel for our therapists before booking your first session. Extended health benefits typically cover psychotherapy and social work services. Check your plan for coverage details.
We're at 110 Eglinton Avenue East, Suite 502, Toronto, ON M4P 2Y1, a short walk from Eglinton Station.
Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space for you to talk and be listened to. Talking about your feelings, emotions, and experiences is healing. In addition, therapy is a place to learn effective coping strategies for managing different situations.
Scientific research shows that psychotherapy is an effective treatment for concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress and a range of other issues. Once you begin a course of therapy, you may feel lighter, more connected to yourself and your loves ones, and better able to cope with life’s challenges.
After two or three sessions, you will start to feel better by talking about your concerns and clarifying your goals. Typically, a series of six to eight sessions will be enough for you to deepen your connection to yourself and your loved ones, develop healthy coping strategies, and enable you to feel empowered. Complex and ongoing issues may require a longer course of therapy.
