Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic is a discipline of healing rooted in science, art and philosophy. It is based on the direct relationship between the integrity of your nervous system and the health of your body. Your nervous system directly controls the function of every cell, tissue, and organ in your body.
Chiropractors examine the bones and joints of the spine as well as surrounding muscles, ligaments and tissues to detect subluxations in the spine. Subluxations are areas in the spine where abnormal position or movement of the vertebrae interferes with communication within the nervous system resulting in abnormal function in the body. These can be found using various diagnostic methods including palpation, range of motion, orthopedic testing, radiographic findings and other methods.
In order to eliminate these subluxations, a chiropractor will perform gentle and specific adjustments which help your spine to return to its proper position and normal range of movement and enable your body to heal itself.
Our chiropractors are trained in many chiropractic techniques, including activator methods, Torque Release Technique, Full Spine Manual Adjusting, Webster Technique and various paediatric and pregnancy chiropractic techniques.
Psychotherapy
Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space for you to talk and be listened to. Talking about your feelings, emotions, and experiences is healing. In addition, therapy is a place to learn effective coping strategies for managing different situations.
Scientific research shows that psychotherapy is an effective treatment for concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress and a range of other issues. Once you begin a course of therapy, you may feel lighter, more connected to yourself and your loves ones, and better able to cope with life’s challenges.
After two or three sessions, you will start to feel better by talking about your concerns and clarifying your goals. Typically, a series of six to eight sessions will be enough for you to deepen your connection to yourself and your loved ones, develop healthy coping strategies, and enable you to feel empowered. Complex and ongoing issues may require a longer course of therapy.
Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is a hands-on treatment that includes the manipulation of muscles, joints, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments. It is used to relieve pain, rehabilitate and maintain physical function and enhance the overall well-being of the patient.

Hydrotherapy Deep Tissue Massage Facial Lymphatic Massage Myofascial Therapy (connective tissue) Trigger Point Therapy Rhythmic Mobilizations Remedial Exercise
Massage therapy can help with many conditions such as:
Muscle Tension/Pain Sports Injuries Pre/Post-Natal care Headaches Scoliosis Stress-related conditions and many more…
Frequency of Care For the best results and to experience the full benefit massage therapy has to offer, a series of treatments are often recommended with follow-up for maintenance and preventive treatments. Your therapist will determine the best schedule of care specific to your needs.

It consists of massage to the face, jaw, neck, and sometimes the scalp and includes Intra-Oral Massage with gloves to help loosen jaw muscles in the mouth.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is an advanced form of manual therapy, based in anatomy and structure and involves precise palpation and assessment. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners work to identify the root cause of symptoms and conditions by removing restrictions and restoring the body’s natural balance. The body is then able to function as designed, inducing self-healing.
Osteopathy is performed through a number of manual techniques including visceral, cranio-sacral therapy and various joint techniques. All movements are gentle and stay within the body’s natural range of motion.
Osteopathy is very effective for pregnant women, babies and children. During pregnancy, Cranial Osteopathic treatment is a safe and effective way of helping the body cope with the additional physical, hormonal and emotional demands of pregnancy and labour. Treatment can help balance the hormonal system and reduce the severity of nausea, vomiting, mood swings and exhaustion and reduce in postural strain and decrease tension in the pelvic floor and diaphragm.
Osteopathy for babies can relieve tension that may have arisen during childbirth. This may include cranial, bone, respiratory and visceral tension. Cranial treatment can also prevent plagiocephaly. In children, treatment can help to correct posture problems and relieve growing pains.
Facial lymphatic Massage
Our facial muscles are tied to our emotions. They can act as a shock absorber and store a lot of the tension we feel. When we get angry, stressed, frustrated, or are in pain the facial muscles can tighten and spasm.
Benefits of Facial Lymphatic Massage:
-Relieves tension in jaw, mouth, and head -Prevents headaches -Improves circulation -Removes toxins -Reduces inflammation -Relaxation -Reduces congestion -Promotes healing
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.
A massage therapist uses lymphatic drainage massage techniques to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues.

Acupuncture stimulates the flow of Qi energy that in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is considered essential to health and optimal wellbeing. When the body is in healthy vitality, Qi flows smoothly through the meridians that make up the conceptual network of pathways through the body. When Qi is obstructed or deficient or out of balance, the body cannot function at its best.
Acupuncture can be used as a treatment option for both symptom relief, as in pain, muscular or nerve injury as well as for system wellbeing as in cases for fertility care or anxiety. In western medicine the yin/yang balance acupuncture aims to achieve is known as homeostasis.
Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment option which stimulates endorphins and encourages healing both locally and systemically.
Therapeutic effects include but are not limited to:
Pain relief Increased energy Improved mood Improved sleep Reduced anxiety
