Dr. Kristin Heins is a Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Psychotherapist with a special interest in women’s health, mental health, infancy, and pediatrics. She has spent over a decade using a compassionate approach to educating and motivating others to participate more actively in their health.
Enthusiasm for fitness and optimal living led Kristin, upon graduating from McGill University, to complete the four-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She has since then enriched her approach to treatment through education including lactation support, oncology, pregnancy care, childhood illness, mood disorders, and addiction. She is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and since 2015 has offered both individual psychotherapy sessions as well as naturopathic care.
Individualized care is at the cornerstone of her practice and patients receive truly specialized treatments with Dr. Heins. She combines a blended approach to supporting the mental and physical well-being of her patients and takes time to know and treat the whole person rather than only symptoms. This allows for care to be longer lasting and more effective.
Dr. Heins is a regular corporate lecturer and public speaker on health as well as co-author to the social emotional learning series for children called Who Am I Books?.
