Patricia is an RMT in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). She is an internationally trained healthcare professional with extensive experience in rehabilitation and brings a compassionate, evidence-informed, and holistic approach to every treatment. Her passion for healthcare began early in life. Growing up alongside her younger sister, who was born with cerebral palsy, Patricia was immersed in the rehabilitation environment from a young age. Accompanying her family to diverse rehabilitation services gave her a deep appreciation for the impact that skilled and caring health professionals may have on individuals living with disabilities and their families. This life experience shaped her commitment to delivering thoughtful, client-centred care grounded in empathy, care and professionalism. Before becoming an RMT in Ontario, Patricia practiced as a physiotherapist in Mexico, providing personalized rehabilitation care to geriatric and pediatric populations, oncology patients, females requiring pelvic floor rehabilitation, and individuals with orthopedic and neurological conditions. She worked closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and developed comprehensive treatment plans focused on restoring mobility, strength, and functional independence. Patricia completed her Massage Therapy Diploma at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Canada, where she conducted comprehensive assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and provided self-care education. She has treated diverse populations, including seniors, prenatal and postpartum women, infants, post-surgical clients, and individuals with complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Her therapeutic approach integrates manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), joint mobilization, deep tissue massage, and Swedish massage. She is committed to promoting long-term client well-being through integrative health practices and collaborative care. Patricia has developed particular expertise in manual lymphatic drainage, infant massage, and prenatal massage therapy. She is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum recovery, helping to reduce discomfort, swelling, and musculoskeletal strain while promoting relaxation and overall well-being. Her training and clinical experience allow her to safely and effectively address the unique physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. With a strong background in pediatric and early intervention rehabilitation, Patricia is uniquely qualified to provide therapeutic massage to infants. Drawing from her physiotherapy experience working with infants and children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, and musculoskeletal disabilities, she integrates her clinical knowledge of motor development, tone regulation, and functional movement into her infant and pediatric massage therapy practice. She delivers safe, compassionate, gentle, and developmentally appropriate treatments that support mobility, reduce tension, and promote healthy growth. She also values caregiver education, empowering parents with techniques that strengthen bonding and reinforce therapeutic progress at home. Her treatments focus on supporting motor development, reducing tension, and enhancing parent–infant bonding through therapeutic touch and education. In addition, Patricia provides advanced manual lymphatic drainage techniques to help manage inflammation, edema, post-surgical swelling, and circulatory concerns. Her rehabilitation background allows her to integrate clinical reasoning with precise, light-touch techniques that support the body’s natural healing processes. She also offers expertise in therapeutic massage for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Her treatment focuses on reducing hypertonicity in the muscles of mastication, improving joint mobility, and decreasing pain and inflammation. Her targeted intraoral and external techniques help relieve tension patterns that contribute
to jaw clicking and pain, restricted opening, bruxism-related discomfort, head, neck and shoulder muscle tightness, headaches and migraines, while supporting improved function for clients with TMJ dysfunction. Patricia is fluent in English and is a native Spanish speaker. She is proud to serve a culturally diverse community with compassionate care. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout every stage of their wellness and recovery journey.
