Sam (Shan) Jiang, is a registered massage therapist, and a registered acupuncturist.
He obtained his Registered Massage Therapist training from the Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2015-2016 and his acupuncture certification from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
He is very experienced at Traditional Chinese style massage/Tui Na and has worked in multidisciplinary environments, such as massage clinics, motor vehicle accident care centers, and Physiotherapy clinics.
As a registered acupuncturist, Sam is experienced in treating stiff neck, headache, shoulder pain, acute and chronic back pain, knee pain, and ankle sprain.
He is also experienced in treating hearing problems, arm and leg movement, and sensation issues, and will help improve digestion function, relieve insomnia and stress, and other issues.
He treats different age groups from infants to seniors and uses a variety of techniques to suit these various populations. Sam performs therapeutic and wellness maintenance massage, utilizing mainly oilless Tuina techniques such as one-finger meditation, rolling, and kneading to stimulate acupressure points and meridian lines. He enjoys using massage techniques for soothing insomnia, and chronic neck, shoulder, back, and hip pain. Scalp massage and stretching are also some of the things his dedicated clients often return for.
He learned Traditional Chinese style Tuina for babies, which mainly entails work on the hands and arms and has been found to help relieve a variety of common infant symptoms, including cold, cough, constipation, diarrhea, bed wetting, etc.
He keeps practicing Tai Chi and Qi Gong to maintain his own health and gain and maintain his good energy level to treat others.
