Paula is a registered Occupational Therapist and has been practicing for over 20 years with a special interest in sensory processing and mental health. Paula provides therapy to children, adolescents and adults. She works with clients with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, Sensory processing challenges, as well as fine or gross motor challenges.
Paula received a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Toronto. She has worked in many settings including Children’s Treatment Centres, public and private schools, child and youth mental health treatment centre, and private practice. Paula has continued her education throughout her career and has a passion for learning; training and certifications include Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, DIR, CBT, and Integrated Listening Systems.
Paula supports clients by addressing areas that may be impacting success in their daily living tasks, such as school, play, social or work. Paula uses a client-centred and strength-based approach to treatment and works with children, adolescents, their families and adults to provide creative solutions to functional challenges.
