Dr. Lindsay Grieve is a family chiropractor who places a strong focus of her practice on women’s health, pre/post-natal care and pediatrics. She believes no one is ever too young or too old to be adjusted.
In 2006 Dr. Grieve graduated from New York Chiropractic College with honours. She has been in practice since 2007 and encompasses a variety of techniques from diversified, Thompson, Activator, MC2 and Torque Release Technique into her adjustment style. Each adjustment is unique and caters to the individual needs of the patient.
Dr. Grieve's interest in chiropractic was ignited at a young age when she sought chiropractic care in her early teens to help with a multitude of symptoms, the most prominent one being her chronic headaches. After a series of adjustments her health began to drastically improve which helped launch her passion for the profession.
She truly believes that health comes from within and focuses her practice on whole body wellness. Nutrition, exercise, stress reduction and a sound nervous system are key foundations she attests to making a healthier you. "I'm a firm believer that today's modern day lifestyle is very taxing on our systems, particularly our Nervous System, which is the powerhouse of the body. People often come into the office with a physical complaint but learn by going through the treatment process how important regular adjustments are for overall health and wellness."
Dr. Grieve is the proud mother to her son, Niko. She was always a promotor of chiropractic during pregnancy but since experiencing it herself, she developed a new gratitude for the power of chiropractic care during this time. Not only does it help keep you more mobile and reduce common pregnancy systems, it also allows the growing baby all the room they need to move around freely in the uterus. Dr. Grieve is trained in the Webster Technique and has had the pleasure of helping many mothers find ease and comfort during their pregnancy.
In 2016 Dr. Lindsay went through her own personal health crisis. She was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disorder called Aplastic Anemia. It was a taxing and gruelling journey, a battle to say the least but she came out of it stronger than ever. Not only does she have a new appreciation for health but also an understanding of the challenges that come when your health is taken away from you.
Dr. Grieve is a passionate individual and loves to get out in the community and share her tips on health. If you’re looking for a speaker for your organization or group, please contact the office.
