Dr. Christine Chung, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario who graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Her clinical internships were completed at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Brampton Civic Hospital, and The Herbal Dispensary Walk In Clinic, an affordable care clinic that helped under-served communities. She was also hand-selected for a focus shift in chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and served as the student research assistant at CCNM.
It was during her clinical year that she realized the overwhelming prevalence of stress and burnout in everyday life, from C-suite executives to busy moms managing families, and how simple lifestyle changes could help shift the conversation into living well.
With the aid of modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, clinical nutrition assessments, and individualized supplementation guided by functional lab testing, Dr. Chung is ready to take on your health and have you at your most optimal to tackle any challenge in life. While she does not restrict herself to specific areas, Dr. Chung loves working with families, including pediatric patients, women's/reproductive health, digestion, and stress management.
Prior to pursuing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Chung graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences with a minor in Food Science. Through her degree, she gained many valuable experiences that helped bridge the gap from nutrition and naturopathic medicine into natural health product development. With almost 10 years of experience in R&D for supplement companies under her belt, this experience helps to most ideally tailor treatment plans to support your health.
Dr. Christine’s goal is to align her passion for preventative health care in an integrative setting and nutritional optimization to help support patients in reaching the next level of their health.
Beyond private practice, Dr. Christine is the co-founder of a corporate wellness consulting group called The Well Company where she applies her knowledge in health and wellness on a larger scale within companies, and on their associated podcast, The Well Conversation.
